Real estate photography in Washington, IL
Ten miles east of base, Washington runs from the historic square out to newer subdivisions and golf-course lots — a mix that needs different treatment street by street.
Washington is not one market. A century home near the square sells on character and interior detail; a Whistling Strait or golf-course property sells on setting and space. The first wants careful interior HDR, the second wants aerials.
Much of the housing stock east of the square was rebuilt after 2013, so a good part of the market is effectively newer construction in an established town. Those listings photograph well and benefit from a floor plan, because buyers want to see the layout before they drive out.

Common questions
- Do you shoot the older homes around the square?
- Yes, and they are worth extra care. Period detail, original woodwork and unusual room shapes need a considered interior shoot rather than a fast run-through.
- Is Washington inside your no-travel-fee area?
- Yes. At roughly ten miles it is comfortably inside the standard radius, so there is no travel charge.
